Have we been invaded?

Wow new coffee shoppe in town so wife and I went by to see if the coffee was to our liking.  First thing I noticed when I opened the door was the great layout or floor plan if you like.  It is not a family place but more toward the couples scene. 

We went on in and was going to seat ourselves when I saw that there was no-one to seat us.   No waiters or waitresses.  We went to the counter and was greeted by a young lady with a ring in her nose.  ( we used to put rings in our hogs nose if they were in habit of rooting under the fence.)  She used a bunch of terms that this old country boy had trouble understanding and I graduated from FHS.  Anyway we each settled on a plain cup of coffee and I got a muffin and the wife a piece of pie.  She handed us a couple of cups and pointed us to some urns on a table where we pumped our coffee from.  She handed us our pie and muffin and we carried everything to a table and seated ourselves to enjoy coffee and a muffin or pie.  The coffee was warm and the muffin was half done.  I can't say it any other way and be honest. 

I can see that they are leaning more toward the "Jet-set" that wants their Starbucks and other specialty coffee.  I hope they will remember that some people just want coffee and a muffin and don't shut themselves completely out of business.  The coffee had a good flavor it just needed to be a little warmer for my taste.

Well that about does my review of this coffee shoppe.  I hope to make this review a weekly process as wife and friends visit other area business in the neighborhood.

HOT, HOT, HOT!

went to an Auto Show down at the Lake of the Ozarks Saturday and almost melted, it was so hot.  The Auto show is an annual affair and the temperature was in the mid nineties.  They close the highway that runs through town and line the Autos up and down the strip.  The show runs all day and the street is asphalt so the sun made it a really hot time.  There were well over 1000 vehicles on display, from motorcycles to partly restored pre-30s vehicles, to street rods.  There were even some modified new Dodges and Fords there.  I even seen a couple of Studebaker s.

As I said above, this is an annual affair so if next year you find yourself in the neighborhood stop by and check out the workman ship of these pieces of art.  If you are near the middle of Missouri the lake is just forty miles southwest of Jefferson City, the capital,or 200 miles northeast of Springfield.  If you like good fishing good eating then you will love this place, oh by the way it's pretty around here also.

Paid again

Downward spiral continues

I see the bux sites are now cutting back on what a free member can earn.  most are only letting you make one or two cents per day.  You still have to click four ads per day to get credit for what you click on though.  If there are only three ads you don't get credit for clicking any nor do you get paid for your referrals.  I guess they want all the money and won't let us earn any.  Where does this money go, into the owners pocket that's where. Why are they so greedy?  I have a bux type site but free member are still being paid for their referral clicks without any minimum click requirement.

I see the "members online" numbers are getting lower but the total count stays the same or is growing, they must be padding their count or something.  It seems that these sites must think its member are dumb or don't ever visit any other bux sites.  They keep saying they are have problems with AlertPay accepting credit cards, so get PayPal.  They say PayPal won't work with bux sites,  Where have these guys been,  I and several other bux sites use PayPal without a problem as well as Solid Trust Pay.  I think they are just looking for an excuse to fold and get away with our money that we have paid for referrals, ads, and upgrades.  They are still asking you to upgrade and all.

I'll be unavailable one day or maybe two next week have to make a trip and maybe overnight stay at the hospital.  This was for tests that should have been done and completed last month but for some reason the drs wanted to postpone until this month.  It may be convenient for them but now I have to pay instead of Medicare, due to the deductible.  Doctors don't have to worry about money I guess and think I shouldn't either.  I'll get it paid but they will have to wait longer to get it all.

Infinity Bux only three ads.

Can we earn on three ads a day?  I guess we are going to have to look elsewhere to be able to earn a good income from the bux sites.  Some of these sites require you to click 4 ads to earn from your referrals so if they only have three ads you miss earnings on all your referrals for that day.  I some weeks, don't have many ads to send to my members but you still earn on all your referrals every click.

I have been searching for some new sites to replace the Bux type sites that are dropping so many ads and shorting their members.  This is the least that I can do for you, my faithful followers.  As I find them I will list them here for you.  I'm not saying that you should drop the bux sites that are not doing as well as before but just offering you another choice if you need it.  I'm going to continue with them and use the earnings for ad revenue.  I'm not putting any new money into them.

If you haven't yet joined them here is a short list of sites that I think will be around for a good while.  I recommend that you look into joining these and upgrading in them as soon as you can.
